These terms cover your use of Kneadful — the website, web app, and mobile apps. Using Kneadful means you agree to them.
The service
Kneadful helps you plan bakes, track starters, and get AI-powered feedback on your bread. The free tier includes the planning tools plus a limited taste of the AI features. Kneadful+ is a paid subscription that unlocks full AI photo analysis and unlimited access to Prue, our baking assistant, subject to fair-use caps shown in the app.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password safe. You can delete your account at any time from the account screen in the app; deletion is permanent and removes your synced data.
Subscriptions
Kneadful+ is billed as an annual subscription through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from the account screen — cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access for the period you've paid for. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription.
AI results are guidance, not gospel
Bake Scores, starter check-ups, and Prue's advice are generated by AI. They're usually helpful, occasionally wrong, and always about bread. Use your judgment — especially on anything food-safety related. When in doubt about whether something is safe to eat, don't eat it.
Fair use
Don't abuse the service: no scraping, no reselling access, no attempting to break or overload it, no submitting content that's illegal or that you don't have rights to. AI usage caps exist to keep the service affordable; circumventing them may result in account suspension.
Your content
Your photos, recipes, and notes remain yours. You give us the limited rights needed to store, process, and display them back to you — that's it. First names and scores you submit to the leaderboard are visible to other users.
Warranty & liability
Kneadful is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
